Ubisoft, Bethesda, Rockstar, EA Games, they've turned the industry I've loved nearly my entire life into a virtual ghetto while they sling half-baked cheap tricks and premium, steaming sh** to their gullible customers. In an interview with IGN, Bethesda’s Todd Howard said Bethesda Game Studios is planning on making Fallout 5. Frankly, I'm disgusted by the state of the games industry for these reasons. Weve seen optimistic predictions but given Bethesdas focus is resolutely on Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6, nevermind the fact that the game hasnt even been revealed, were not expecting it for a long time. The greed aspect comes in w/ the latest console generation as an excuse to jack up the retail price per game by $10 and through the micro-transaction driven/long-term monetization of games which ppl foolishly pour their money into time and time again (here's looking at you GTA V Online). Currently, it seems like the most optimistic Fallout 5 release date is likely to be 2024 at the very earliest, but even that feels generous. While theres currently no confirmed release date for Fallout 5, theres plenty of speculation. It's called lack of focus/vision, laziness and greed which drive artificial development cycles which appear to take 6-10+ years. The games taking a decade to make is a complete and utter lie.

It's why they rely on the modding community to fix every single one of their inept, broken games. What it comes down to is laziness on Bethesda's part. It wasn't much, but it was enough to set rumor mill. Building and using your own engine may have made sense for some devs in the past, but more and more are moving to engines such as Unreal b/c it isn't worth the continued time and expense and added risks of launching a game which already looks outdated at release b/c the dev cycles are 4-5 years on average. In late 2021, director and executive producer Todd Howard said Bethesda has a 'one-pager' for Fallout 5, but it's still a while off. If a company as dumb as Bethesda thinks continuing to use an incredibly out-dated, inefficient, junk engine such as their Creation Engine makes any sense, they're absolutely bonkers. Elder Scrolls 6 and Fallout 5 are still distant dreams, but while we wait for further news on the next big Bethesda RPG game, courtesy of the Starfield release date, we can’t help agreeing. It wasnt much, but it was enough to set rumor mill. Technology/software has been designed to improve development cycles and create automated methods, efficiencies, etc. In late 2021, director and executive producer Todd Howard said Bethesda has a 'one-pager' for Fallout 5, but its still a while off. But no, fact - that doesn't mean they have to take 2, 3 or 10xs as long to develop. The finalization comes just a day after Microsoft. Yes, fact - games have become more complex. Microsoft has finalized its 7.5 billion deal to acquire ZeniMax Media, the parent company of Doom and Fallout studio Bethesda Softworks. Everyone truly wants to buy into this BS so badly. This new game engine will hopefully lead to innovations in Starfield, The Elder Scrolls 6, and possibly Fallout 5 down the line.I have to laugh at this statement. Starfield will use Creation Engine 2, a new evolution of the Creation Engine which Bethesda has used in previous titles. However, with upcoming outer space epic Starfield, Bethesda looks to be pushing its development process to new limits. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, in particular, is often regarded as one of the greatest games to release in the last decade.

The developer is known for crafting unique open worlds and questlines for players to explore. Currently, Bethesda Game Studios is developing sci-fi RPG Starfield, and The Elder Scrolls VI will reportedly follow that ambitious game's November 2022 release.īetween the Fallout and Elder Scrollsfranchises, Bethesda has produced some of the most well-known role-playing games in recent memory. For proof of such, look no further than recent Fallout games. The studio is responsible for the latest entries in the Fallout and created the Elder Scrolls fantasy saga. Published As iconic as it is, the Capital Wasteland shouldnt be the setting for Fallout 5. Developer Bethesda Game Studios already has early plans for Fallout 5, but the next post-apocalyptic RPG is still years away.
